About L.I.N.K.S High School

L.I.N.K.S is a semi-closed high school for the intellectually challenged students.  Our mission is to serve our special clientele by ensuring the maximum growth and development of each student academically, morally, socially and culturally in order to achieve personal independence in society.
L.I.N.K.S High School is located on Papineau Avenue in the Ahuntsic area in the same facility which houses the St. Pius X Adult Centre and Culinary Institute. It is easily accessible by bus #45 from the Papineau Metro and buses #121 and #140 from the Sauvé Metro.

What programs does L.I.N.K.S High School offer?

MAP (Modified Academic Programme)
Modified cycle one secondary school curriculum (Secondary 1 & 2)

CASP (Competency-based Approach to Social Participation)
Focus on social skills and functional academics from ages 12 to 15 with moderage to severe intellectual impairments.

Défis
Functional academics, hands-on living skills and introduction to working life.

Pre-Work and Semi-Skilled Trade
Functional academics combined with work placements.

Autonomy Preparation Program
Focus on students' autonomy, self-advocacy, self-care skills, as well as academic progression in preparation for independence.
