The EMSB administration offices are closed to the public for the Quebec Construction Holidays from Monday, July 21st to Friday, August 1st, 2025 inclusively.
Certificates of Eligibility
Applications for certificates of eligibility will resume on Monday, August 4th at 8:30 a.m. Please come early to ensure that you will be able to see a representative.
First day of class
The first day of class for most elementary and secondary students is Tuesday, September 2nd, 2025. Please note that in many elementary schools Pre-K and/or Kindergarten students follow a progressive entry schedule. Contact your child's school for more information.
Supply lists and entry instructions for your child's grade should be posted on your school's website. If you do not see the information posted please contact your child's school directly.
Registration
Registration for those not previously enrolled will begin on Wednesday, August 13, 2025 for elementary and secondary schools. Parents are asked to call the school in their neighbourhood to make an appointment. Parents are urged to consult the Board’s website at , which also contains information about the successful adult education and vocational training programs. Late registration
Late registration is now open for students not previously enrolled in school. Children must be 5 years of age by September 30 to enroll in Kindergarten.
